EpicVerse ComicCon – Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy

EpicVerse ComicCon is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment for all attendees, vendors, staff, volunteers, and guests. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for harassment of any kind.

Prohibited Behavior (Strictly Enforced)

The following actions are NOT allowed under any circumstances:

• Verbal Harassment:
  Insults, slurs, derogatory comments, threats, intimidation, or repeated unwanted communication directed at any individual or group.

• Physical Harassment or Assault:
  Unwanted touching, grabbing, blocking movement, following someone, or any form of physical intimidation or violence.

• Sexual Harassment:
  Unwanted sexual comments, gestures, advances, requests for sexual favors, or inappropriate comments about someone’s body, appearance, or costume.
  Cosplay is NOT consent.

• Stalking or Persistent Behavior:
  Following someone, repeatedly approaching after being told “no,” or attempting to engage someone who has clearly disengaged.

• Harassment of Vendors or Staff:
  Aggressive behavior, refusal to follow instructions, intimidation, or disruption of business operations or event activities.

• Photography & Recording Violations:
  Taking photos or videos of individuals without their consent when asked not to, especially in a harassing or exploitative manner.

• Discriminatory Harassment:
  Any harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any protected characteristic.

• Online or Digital Harassment Related to the Event:
  Threats, doxxing, or harassment of attendees, vendors, or staff through social media or digital platforms tied to the event.

Vendor-Specific Conduct Requirements

All vendors are held to the same standards and additionally must:

• Treat all customers, staff, and other vendors with respect at all times

• Refrain from aggressive sales tactics, intimidation, or inappropriate comments

• Maintain a safe and professional booth environment

• Immediately comply with staff instructions regarding conduct

Consequences (Immediate and Non-Negotiable)

Violation of this policy will result in swift and serious action, including but not limited to:

• Immediate removal from the event without refund

• Revocation of vendor privileges and future participation bans

• Permanent ban from all EpicVerse events

• Confiscation of event credentials or badges

• Involvement of venue security and/or law enforcement

• Criminal charges and arrest where applicable under local, state, or federal law

EpicVerse ComicCon reserves the right to take action without warning based on the severity of the incident.

Reporting Harassment

If you experience or witness harassment:

• Report it immediately to event staff, security, or the registration desk

• Provide as much detail as possible (location, description, individuals involved)

• All reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly

Final Statement

By attending or participating in EpicVerse ComicCon, you agree to abide by this policy.
If you cannot respect others, you will not be allowed to remain at this event.
